We make fewer documentaries these days as the airtime available for serious documentaries and the opportunities for small regional independents are both fading fast. But we are proud of our past world exclusives including the discovery of ozone depletion in the Arctic and the threat of biological terrorism.
Much of our current affairs portfolio has been concerned with environment and development issues. We have documented the rise of industrial poisoning in polar bears and Inuit children, the plight of refugees and the internally displaced from wars across Africa, and the role of wildlife police officers in combating bird of prey persecution.
Wildcat is currently taking break from documentary production while we return to our roots in current affairs and develop a major new proposal looking at UK foreign and defence policy in a changing world.
